So we thought of listing down some good destinations that you could choose from and make that day filled with hearts more special and memorable.

Sumilon Island (Cebu)

Sumilon is a small island in the southern region of Cebu now a sister resort of Maribago Bluewaters at Mactan. Its name originates from the Cebuano word nisilong, which means “to seek refuge.” In perilous weather, fishermen would dock on the island for temporary shelter. The island was also a refuge for Filipinos during the Japanese occupation.

It is about 420 kilometres (260 mi) southwest ofManila, and about 238 kilometres (148 mi) northeast of Puerto Princesa, Palawan’s capital. According to CNNGo, it is the Best Beach and Island destination in the Philippines for its “extraordinary natural splendor and ecosystem.

Villa Escudero (Quezon)

Villa Escudero Plantations is 800 hectares (2,000 acres) of working coconut plantation and hacienda located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of the city of San Pablo, Laguna province on the border with Quezon province in the Philippines.  Since 1981, the plantation has opened its doors as a resort offering village tours, museum tour, food and accommodations. It has developed a worldwide reputation as a focal point to experience Philippine culture and history in a beautiful rural setting
